The SmartCine Has Arrived!

The SmartCine is finally here! We've just received the shipment to our warehouse! 

Orders from within the United States will be sent out this week. For those of you who are located outside of the United States, sit tight - your orders will be sent out in the coming weeks!

Locking Shipping Orders Tomorrow!

Hello everyone – we’re inching ever closer to the SmartCine’s arrival! The next step in the process will be locking in your shipping orders. As previously stated, we will be locking in your orders tomorrow, March 1st, at 2:00 PM PST. Once your orders are locked in, you will not be able to update your shipping address or add any extra items on to your pledge, so if you need to make any changes, please do so before the deadline tomorrow!

Remember, you can view your survey to update your shipping address, or add additional items, through BackerKit.

Charging Your Add-Ons

Once orders are locked, the next step will be to charge cards for any add-ons you selected through BackerKit - such as the telephoto lens, or bluetooth remote. If you chose to add any of these add-ons to your order, the card you have on file with us will be charged on March 5th. This will only affect people who chose add-ons for their order through Backer Kit. 

If you haven't made any changes to your order since the Kickstarter ended, you don't need to worry about this. However, if you still want to add some of these cool accessories to your SmartCine order, make sure to pick what you want in BackerKit and enter a valid credit card before March 5th!

It's Almost Here!

March madness is about to hit MOVO Photo as the SmartCine begins to ship out! Woo! 

Our U.S. backers can expect to see theirs delivered in early March, and our international backers will be soon to follow. (More info on that soon!)

March 1st Deadline

In order to ensure all orders ship on time, we will be locking in all shipping addresses on March 1st. If you need to make any changes to your shipping address, please be sure to do so before that date!

March 1st is also the last day to add extra items on to your pledge. If you're interested in any of our add-on items (like the telephoto lens, or USB-C adapter cable), make sure you add them to your order by the deadline.  

Remember, you can view your survey, or add additional items, through BackerKit.

Don’t delay your delivery; complete your survey today!

Your SmartCine can only be sent upon the completion of your Backerkit Survey! Without your address , your SmartCine has nowhere to go.

New Year - New Shipping Update!

Welcome to 2019!

Greetings everyone - we hope you're enjoying the start of your beautiful new year!

Production continues on the SmartCine, and we are steadily getting closer to our shipping date. As a result, I have some more shipping info to share with you all!

We've been making some adjustments to the production process in order to ensure everyone gets an amazing product. However, adjustments mean delays - and in this case we've had to push back our delivery date back by a couple weeks. 

Unfortunately, that runs us right into the middle of Chinese New Year... and China just happens to be the home of our manufacturing partner! If any of you have spent time in China during Lunar New Years, then you know how the entire country comes to a halt for an extended period of celebration. Great for relaxation - not great for shipping deadlines.

Long story short, the estimated ship date for the SmartCine is now March, 2019. The good news is, we plan on shipping units throughout the entire month of March and expect to have all orders shipped before the end of the month.

Don't Forget to Complete Your Survey!

Of course, we can only send you a SmartCine if you've competed your BackerKit survey! 84% of you have already given us your shipping address. Nicely done! However, that means 16% of you still have a SmartCine with nowhere to go. Are you one of the 16%?

Happy Holidays & Shipping Update

A warm seasonal hello from all of us here at MOVO Photo! We hope everyone is staying warm and safe, wherever this December finds you.

We've been hard at work getting the SmartCine ready for all our fantastic backers. Based on the current production schedule, we're currently expecting our first orders to ship out in late January. We should have more information to share with you in the New Year - so stay tuned!
